Join this year’s Drive It Day and Ride It Day for the Motorcycle Community!
Bring your classic car or motorcycle to participate in Drive It Day, supporting the NSPCC’s Childline® and helping raise funds for vulnerable children. Vehicles registered before 31st July 1995 are welcome (for example, vehicles with an M prefix on their registration number, like M123 ABC).
Gates open at 9am for classic vehicles via Campbell Gate off Brooklands Road, with the Museum and Sunbeam Café opening at 10am.
National Drive It Day, created by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs in 2005, celebrates the historic One Thousand Mile Trial from 1900, which demonstrated the viability of the new motor vehicle. It’s a chance to raise public awareness for the historic vehicle movement and the importance of preserving transport heritage on UK roads.
Support Childline by purchasing a driver’s rally plate from the FBHVC shop!
