While many of our members own historic cars, others simply share a passion for vintage and classic motoring.

Founded in 1972, we have hosted the Borders’ premier classic car show almost every year since. After a brief pause due to the pandemic, we returned in 2022 with the Sir Jackie Stewart Classic, a spectacular two-day event at Thirlestane Castle near Lauder. In 2023, the show returned to its traditional BVAC Classic format, drawing record crowds and exciting new attractions.
